Whether we know it or not, as human beings we are already who we are supposed to be. We are basically no different than Jesus, except for the fact that He was fully awakened to His highest potential. Remember, Jesus told us that we could do as he, and even more. He developed himself mentally and spiritually through obeying the Father, and each of us has the same opportunity. As we study the 12 powers, we find that we have all of the qualities we need to fulfill our blueprint here on earth and we have the qualities to be fully awakened as Jesus did. The tools for realizing the Christ Potential are already inside of all of God’s children. An example is an acorn, which comes completely infilled with all that is needed to develop into a large oak tree. The acorn and the oak tree both have their individual potentialities as well, and humankind is no different; we are blueprinted to become the completely developed person we are intended to be. It is up to each of us to study, pray, and meditate on the 12 powers consistently by using Charles Fillmore’s method of transformation–one power at a time–one month at a time, while combining and converging powers as we study them.
It is time to get excited about our spiritual growth–This is the month of March; spring is almost here and Easter is around the corner. The beautiful flowers, especially the daffodils, that seem to be everywhere present, are indicative of new growth and new life. This is the time for us to unify the attributes of Faith, (January) Love, (February) and Strength (March). As we move from generation to degeneration and advance to regeneration, our spirituality is becoming more and more Christ manifested. All of us must grow or stagnate, because stagnation is an ending–all living things must grow or cease to be. Therefore, let us proceed with the conscious use of these twelve Divine ideas. Also, this consciousness-building idea can become fun and productive by creating and participating in planned projects or activities with others of the same mind-set.
We must be committed and determined to achieve mind-transformation. If the process is followed diligently, the shift takes place sometimes in the invisible. There are instances wherein someone else will notice the change before the person making the change. But, after the way has been prepared, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit appears. Then, the regenerate person begins to become obvious; the spiritual-man begins to fully unfold and display purification, refinement, and spiritualization.
The faculty for March is Strength; the color designated is spring green, representing the entrance of spring to the earth. The disciple represented is Andrew who is known for his amazing strength and power. The faculty of Strength is expressed on three levels: physical, mental, and spiritual. Each one complimenting the other. In order to receive mastery in the other 11 faculties, strength has to be emphasized as one of the most necessary faculties of all. For, without Strength, the other faculties would not have a sound foundation on which to develop and grow.
In the physical realm, strength is vitality, endurance; and the ability to persist. In the mental area, strength enables us to lead, to accomplish, as well as the ability to follow through. In the spiritual genre, strength must be closely aligned with faith in the symbology of the 12 qualities of mind. The disciple, Andrew, represents Strength, and Jesus helped to develop great qualities in Andrew (strength) and his brother, Peter (Faith). The two brothers worked very closely with Jesus, and they will now help us to grow, also under the direction of the Christ.
People can greatly accelerate into the Christ Mind by using denials and affirmations that identify with the Christ. Therefore, our first step in spiritual-transformation is to clean up erroneous thoughts and feelings. Followed by affirmations of Truth. The results of spiritual transformation is that we are able to navigate life in a more peaceful, joyful, and exciting way, as we are expressing excellent health in mind and body.
And, so it is,
